Sunday Vlog

I thought I would do something a little different today and post a few videos.

I was getting ready for my run today, and Porter insisted that he get a walk first.  We walked around the Adventure Bound esker trail, it is only about a mile or so and is super pretty.  We had to break trail with snowshoes, but we didn’t get much snow from Nemo (we only got about 6″) so it was pretty easy to blaze the trail.

So then I got out for my 12 mile run.  Traction was kind of tough, I decided from the start that I would just stay in zone 2 even if it meant taking a little longer than I planned.  There was lots of snowmobile trailers heading south throwing slush in my ear, and there was very little pavement to run on, it was all snow-covered and slippery.

BUT the day was sunny and warm and beautiful, and I really enjoyed the run.  I am still living the No Sugar, No Grains way of eating, and loving it.  So fuel for this run was Macadamia nuts.  Seemed to work well.  Here I am post run.

I am sitting on the couch right now typing this, and Porter is asking me for another walk, so we will probably head back to the esker trail.

Thanks for reading (watching)!

    Love it!!!!

Was this just a test to see how the Caratunk Comedy Hour will upload??? You know that is what we want.

Ugh. That hard pack stuff is the worst. It doesn’t always look it, but it can get slick. I’d almost rather run in the slush.

What a great post! One day, it’ll be so much fun to actually meet ya! Porter might be one of the coolest dogs ever! I love that he wanted to come say “hi” to everybody. What a good pup. Way to go on your run. You looked so fresh afterwards! BEAST! Keep up the good work!

  3. Love it. But where is the shower video……haha!

Karen watched with me and wants to head to Caratunk to see you and Porter and run in the snow.

Me, not so much with the snow.

BTW – I was going to tweet you that I was sorry that on my 5 hour ride today I got a little sun burnt on my face but then saw your videos here and well…..it may have been cold but looked gorgeous.

Um… you are too cute! Love the braids… and the mac nuts, although just an FYI, they are way better in cookies with white chocolate chips. :)
