This is a totally random post…
Lots of people have asked me what I eat day to day since I have cut out the sugars and the grains. I plan on making a post about that when I get a chance. Until then, here is my go-to breakfast:
I would have turned my nose up at this a year ago. But it is actually pretty darn good. So for me breakfast is either that, or a couple of hard boiled eggs and full fat yogurt and berries. It depends on how much time I have.
Run Laugh Run…
Last week I put in some good running miles…I have been listening to podcasts on my run. Listening to the Vinnie Tortorich podcast made me actually laugh out loud in the middle of my run. I almost had to stop I was laughing so hard. I am sure I looked pretty foolish!
Here is my post 15 mile run grin.
I actually went to the pool again this week. It was awesome, I am actually making some pretty big gains despite only getting to the pool once a week. The only thing that sucks is the way my sinuses react to chlorine. Holy cow, you would think I have a cold for 2-3 days after. I don’t have this trouble in the summer when I am in my nice clean lake! I can’t wait to get out into the open water.
Speaking of which, Porter and I checked out the local pool – and it was open!

…is a recovery week…
I am pretty psyched about that, but at the same time I feel kind of…well like I am slacking. It was really weird today not having to get up at 4am to fit in my workout (ofcourse, I get to do that tomorrow). I KNOW recovery is important, but I have an issue really LOVING recovery so much I kind of take a while to turn it back on. Anyway, my mileage will be pretty low with the exception of a long run on Saturday or Sunday.
